Blue Chip Process Maturity Example

This is an example of a blue chip electronics company's process maturity model. It is based on CMMI and is assessed through a questionnaire. The results are summarised into a spider diagram under process management categories:

  • Process portfolio and target setting
  • Process documentation
  • Process performance control
  • Process optimisation
  • Standardisation and tools
  • Process management organisation
  • Programme management and communications
  • Data management
  • IT architecture

These categories are consistent with the ThinkingProcess model. The Maturity Model is shown below, and has 5 levels.
